Upskilling Volunteers With Hands-On Training
EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES THROUGH TRAINING
At Tillery Action for You Ltd, we believe in the power of education and hands-on experience. Our training programmes cover a range of skills, including landscaping and car maintenance, designed to upskill volunteers and transitional employees. These opportunities not only benefit individuals but also strengthen the wider community by fostering a skilled and motivated workforce. Participants gain confidence, qualifications, and a sense of achievement while contributing to meaningful projects that improve local spaces and support community growth. With the support of our funders and partners, we continue to expand these initiatives. Contact us to get involved or learn more.

TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES THROUGH VOLUNTEER PROJECTS
Tillery Action for You Ltd has been at the heart of community transformation in Ebbw Vale since 2001. From small-scale fencing repairs to large-scale landscaping projects, our work is powered by the dedication of our volunteers and transitional employees. These projects not only enhance local spaces but also provide invaluable opportunities for participants to gain skills and experience. Whether it’s maintaining paths or installing dry-stone walls, every project is a step towards building a stronger, more connected community.
SHOWCASING OUR PAST PROJECTS
Our portfolio of projects highlights the diverse work we undertake. These projects are a testament to the skills and dedication of our volunteers and employees.
We completed the full renovation of this site during the commemorative year celebrating Aneurin Bevan. Works included installing large boulders, dry-stone walling, path maintenance and reinstatement, repairs to original walls, fencing, and knee rail installation. The project provided 12 participants with qualifications and practical experience.
