Through the Abertillery Underpass project, Tillery Action For You Ltd provided valuable volunteering opportunities during a quieter seasonal period. We focus on getting involved in practical environmental improvements while encouraging community participation across Ebbw Vale.

COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENTS AROUND ABERTILLERY UNDERPASS
Tillery Action For You Ltd completed extensive environmental improvements connected to Abertillery Underpass in Ebbw Vale during the spring months of 2025 and 2026. We renovated green spaces surrounding the site, stripped back underpass walls, and installed new walling with bee bricks to support local wildlife. Our work also included laying rubber crumb areas around newly planted Hornbeam trees and adding wildflower turf, heathers, and bilberry plants.
