Active Inclusion at TAFY

We are very proud of our work with the WCVA (Wales Council of Voluntary Action) over the past three years delivering both strand 1 and strand 2 (volunteering and transitional employment) opportunities within Blaenau Gwent.

This funding has allowed our organisation to offer paid employment opportunities each year to 18 – 24-year-olds within Blaenau Gwent. In 2020 alone (despite the Covid 19 situation and restrictions due to lockdown) we have delivered four transitional employment placements and 19 volunteering opportunities with ourselves.

Working with this funding stream and the WCVA has also benefited our organisation internally through systems development and looking at the way we work as an organisation, Active Inclusion funding has left TAFY in a far better position as an organisation whilst delivering outstanding results for our participants.

Active Inclusion project activities are part funded through European Social Funds and we would like to take this opportunity to thank WCVA for their confidence in our organisation to deliver these activities!
